Story

As a bonus character, Shantotto has no bearing on the plot. She does appear in one cutscene (a flashback of Cosmos's) defending Cosmos from Gabranth.

Thoughts

Shantotto is an odd one. In Distant Glory - Heroes, she really made me question her motives (she comes off as more of a villain than a secret ally). In battle, she's easy to get the hang of but hard to fight against due to her size. But past that, I have little to say about her. I know nothing about FFXI, after all.

Gameplay

Shantotto is easy to get the hang of. Most of her attacks are based in her HP Attacks, which she can chain and which grow in power depending on how much Brave she has. Fighting her is usually a pain, though — because she's so small, it's hard to actually land hits. Plus she's a rare speedy mage, which makes her more dangerous. If you have to fight her, watch out!
