Tidus
Name: Tidus
Japanese name: チィーダ (Tida)
Name pronunciation: Tee-dus, but I will always say it Tie-dus in my head.
Hails from: Final Fantasy X, which I really need to play.
Fighting type: Dodge Attacker / Spry Striker
Seiyuu/Voice Actor: Masakazu Morita / James Arnold Taylor
Manliness level: 9/10 (point off for ridiculous uneven pants and weird collar ornament)
Story
Tidus's story revolves around his desire to beat up his father, Jecht. After fighting the Emperor and with a little help from Firion, he manages to make it to battle with Jecht and defeats him. Past that, Tidus really has very little characterization, which is a pity.
Thoughts
FFX is another FF I have yet to play, though I'd love to if I could. From what I know of the story, though, Tidus is much more of a character than he is in Dissidia, so it's disappointing he was restricted to a simple father vendetta. Gameplay-wise, I rushed through his story mode and found him difficult to use, so I have a hard time getting the hang of him.
Gameplay
The basis of most of Tidus's attacks is that he dodges oncoming attacks before doing his own, though I've yet to get the hang of how that works. As far as power goes, I wouldn't really call him weak or strong — he's pretty much in the middle. Fighting him can be difficult, though, because if the difficulty's high enough he can be a hard opponent to dodge. He tends to dodge your attacks, so it can be frustrating. Maybe he takes after Jecht in that.
