Story

As a bonus character, Gabranth has no bearing on the plot. He appears in one cutscene (a flashback of Cosmos's) about to attack Cosmos but held off by Shantotto.

Thoughts

Gabranth was a good choice for the FFXII villain character, though it's a shame he didn't get in on the plot. All of the armor guys could have banded together and taken over the world! Or something. He definitely has the lamest EX Mode appearance, though — all he does is put on his helmet. His EX Burst wins for sheer awesome, though.

Gameplay

Gabranth has a wholly unique battle method. He has no HP attacks outside of EX Mode, and focuses mostly on defense and filling his EX gauge. He's slow in normal mode but fast in EX Mode, so basically, try not to let him get any EX Cores and avoid him as best you can when he's in EX Mode.
