A warrior highly skilled in the art of the sword. He also excels in using his shield both defensively and offensively. In the original title, after rescuing Sarah, the princess of Cornelia, he departed on a journey to save the world from being completely consumed by darkness.

Warrior of Light hails from the first Final Fantasy, where he is simply known by his job class, Warrior, and whatever name the player gives him. Partway through the game, the heroes of Final Fantasy get a job class upgrade, and the Warrior becomes a Knight. This is illustrated in Dissidia: Final Fantasy through Warrior of Light's EX Mode, in which he becomes a knight, as seen to the right.

Warrior of Light's name is never given in Dissidia, because he himself cannot remember it. He also cannot remember what it means to want anything other than the light of the crystals, because every line he says includes the words "light," "crystals," or "Cosmos." Either he's a little bit obsessed or he can't think about anything else... a bit like Exdeath and the Void, actually.
